The Libationist Agency privacy policy

thelibationists.com is the website of The Libationist Agency, a spirits and hospitality agency. The Libationist Agency is a business name of Ninth Vale Holdings LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers this website, including the private client pages we share by link. It explains what the site collects, how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and the choices you have.
The short version
This site has no forms, no sign ups, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and it sets no cookies. We only receive what you choose to send us, plus the basic technical information any website needs to load a page. We never sell personal information.
What we collect
When you contact us: the site's email, phone and Instagram links open your own apps. If you write, call or message us, we receive what you send, such as your name, email address or phone number, your message and any attachments.
When you visit: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically receives the technical information every browser sends to load a page. That is your network (IP) address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page that sent you there, and the date and time.
Fonts: our pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them. Google receives your network address and browser information when it does.
Downloads: some client pages offer a file to download, such as a presentation. Downloading it sends Cloudflare the same technical information as visiting a page. We do not ask who you are.
What we do not collect: no forms, no email list, no accounts, no payment details, no location, no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising tools and no embedded videos.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies and does not use tracking pixels or similar tools. Google states that its font service does not set cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to you and talk about working together.
- To run our work with clients and keep normal business records.
- To deliver the site's pages, keep the site secure and fix problems.
We do not use any of it to build profiles of visitors or to advertise to you.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers, only for the jobs listed here:
- Cloudflare: hosts this website.
- Google: provides the site's fonts and our email. Our email runs on Gmail, so messages you send us are stored by Google.
- Instagram and your phone carrier: only if you choose to contact us that way. Their own privacy policies apply.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect anyone's rights or safety, or as part of moving The Libationist Agency to an affiliate or successor company.
We never sell personal information, and we never share it for advertising.
Unlisted client pages
Some pages on this site are made for one client and shared only by link. They are not linked from the rest of the site. They are about that client's business, and they collect nothing extra from you.
How long we keep it
We keep emails and messages for as long as we need them to reply, to work with you and to keep business records, then we delete them. Cloudflare and Google keep their own technical records for limited periods under their own policies.
How we protect it
Every page loads over a secure, encrypted connection. Our email and website accounts are protected by sign in, and only we can reach them. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the address below and we will reply within 45 days. We will never treat you differently for asking.
California residents
If you live in California, you have the choices above. California law also lets you ask whether we share personal information with other companies for their own marketing. We do not, and we never have.
Children
This site is about spirits and is meant for adults of legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Other websites
Links to other sites, such as Instagram, take you to services we do not run. Their privacy policies apply there.
Do Not Track
This site does not track you over time or across other websites, and it does not let other companies track you here for advertising. So it does not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, the date at the top changes. For important changes, we post a notice on this page before they take effect.
